Amkodor 211 heads for Moscow

At the "Udarnik" (the head plant of "Amkodor" JSC) the first consignment of Amkodor 211 skid steer loader has began. It will be delivered to organizations of housing and utility services of the city of Moscow. JSC have already manufactured 25 vehicles for taking through acceptance tests.
Reference: Amkodor 211 is designed for clear the roads of debris and snow, take care of the land area, level terrain, perform storage operations with the stackable cargo, the mechanization of cargo handling and transport the variety of materials. In addition, the loader is used by maintenance crews for area's care and during minor repairs, such as pavement slab laying.
A set of quick-change equipment makes Amkodor 211 a universal multifunction machine that can do virtually all utility, transportation and building operations with 17 quick-change working bodies. Among them - the bulldozer turning blade, loading forks, curb stone grip, hammer, drill, hook assembly, concrete mixer, rotary snowplow milling, excavating equipment, etc. Implementation of 109 units was made possible by winning the auction for a state-run contract signing to purchase utility vehicles, which was held in electronic form by the Department of Competition Policy at the capital of the Russian Federation. Two competing companies have participated at the auction - LLC "Amkodor-Center" (the official distributor of JSC "Amkodor" of the Central Federal District of Russian Federation) and the Federal State Unitary Company "Gostekhstroy." On account of the first consignment, the Russian capital's housing and utility services will receive 60 units of AMKODOR 211, which will be sent by the middle of December this year and the remaining vehicles - by May of 2012. As a part of the deal that was agreed during the auction, to send 13 vibratory rollers of "Amkodor 6622A" manufactured by LLC "Amkodor-Pinsk" and 27 vibratory rollers "Amkodor 6223V" produced by LLC "Amkodor-Mozhayev." This machinery is planned to be delivered by May of 2012. Besides Amkodor 211, the increasing popularity among Russian house and utility services are obtaining universal loaders in capacity from 3.4 to 5 tons, which are used for cleaning wider area of road surface. The presence of the adapter (a device for changing the working bodies) allowing to operate with 50 different kinds of quick-change attachments, use the machine in any season, and perform many other tasks. Such machine can function as a loader, bulldozer, snow plower, crane as one. Beginning from 2005, this type of machinery is successfully used by utility services throughout Russia. Recently there has been an active promotion of these vehicles to the Far East regions of Russia, Vladivostok, Chukotka Autonomous District, the Republic of Sakha. Despite the fact that the cost of delivery of Belarusian machinery to these regions is commensurate with the cost of similar product made in China, Russian customers make their choice in favor of "Amkodor's" brand.

First Grain Drying System for the Russian consumer

In the Krasnoyarsk region, work began on assembling the first delivered to the Russian Federation grain cleaning and drying system produced by "Amkodor Mozha." First-born was ZSK(???)-15s of 15 tons per hour planned capacity. The system, designed for cleaning and drying of grain, seeds, legumes, cereals and oilseed rape, consists of a pit type grain dryer SZSH(???)-15, VU-ZH(??-? )-2, 0 air heater, pre-cleaning grain unit – OZS(??? )-100. Delivery contract between JSC "Krasnoyarsk Amkodor" (the dealer operating in Siberian Federal District) and "Amkodor-Mozha" has been signed in August. Now under the guidance of the manufacturer's plant, works on installation and commissioning of the system are taking place in the "Mustang" LLC, which is located in the village of Taskino of the Krasnoyarsk Region's Emelyanovsk district. "Amkodor's" products are successfully operating in 32 countries, but the main partnership role on the international market continues to belong to the Russian Federation. Organized network of distributors, dealers, trade and exhibition centers, service centers, technical mobile teams and stocks of spare parts helps to increase the volume of sales for Belarusian manufacturer. To date, the Russian Federation has more than 70 subjects of the distribution network (distributors and dealers altogether): - Central Federal District - 22; - North-West Federal District - 10; - Volga Federal District - 14; - South and the North Caucasus Federal districts - 5; - Urals Federal District - 7; - Siberian Federal District - 7; - Far East Federal District - 5. Development of the commodity distribution network of "Amkodor" makes it possible to quickly respond to any possible clients. For 8 months of this year, "Amkodor" increased the volume of production equipment by 57.4%, sales volume - by 54.0% comparing to the same period in 2010. During this period, in Russian Federation has been delivered 2.14 times more vehicles than last year. "Amkodor's" products in Russia are purchased by heavy and well-known companies such as JSC "Gazprom", JSC "Surgutneftegas", utilities and road services in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, agricultural enterprises and many other consumers.

Import substitution - quality management

JSC "Amkodor" participated in on-the-go extended meeting of the Minsk city Executive Committee, where number of questions were discussed on import substitution program in the city of Minsk, as well as in Belarus in whole for the first half of year 2011. During the meeting, which was held at the Minsk Engine Plant in participation with Mayor of Minsk city Nikolay Ladutko, was discussed the possibility of changing the structure of urban imports. First of all, through the development of high-tech industries, aiming to produce import-substituting products, as well as increasing the share of investment imports. Such enterprise, focused on the maximum import substitution production, actually is the JSC "Amkodor". Company working simultaneously on several programs: production of import-substituting technology, production of components of their own for vehicles of "Amkodor" brand, a joint production of component details, lowering the volume of imports at the expense of replacement parts and materials towards domestically produced counterparts purchase. Today, more than 60 percent of parts, components and assemblies are produced in the company’s facilities. To eliminate the dependence on imports "Amkodor" manufactures for their own use hydromechanical transmission (HMT), drive axles, cabs, hydraulic cylinders, valves and so on. For example, grain cleaning and drying systems produced by "Amkodor Mozha" (subsidiary of "Amkodor") is almost entirely composed of the parts and components of its own made. The Company is working actively with the Belarusian producers of import-substituting products. For instance, for both 2010 and 2011 years virtually all non-regulated hydro-pumps and hydro-engines of Russian made are replaced by Belarusian manufacturers. At the exhibition, organized specifically for the Executive Committee meeting, "Amkodor" displayed 18 items of import-substituting parts (mufflers, filters, clamps, half-flanges, ball valves, drills, etc.), which provides ground for the development by Belarusian enterprises on import substitution program. Right after meeting "Amkodor" have received the offer of cooperation from the JSC "QUIP" which is expressed the readiness to participate in the production of import-substituting parts for JSC “Amkodor”. The package of measures aimed at maximizing import substitution enables JSC "Amkodor" to manage the quality and cost production, and ultimately compete with global producers.

Belarusians abroad perform at JSC "AMKODOR"

Last week JSC "Amkodor" hosted first International Festival of Belarusians of the World, which runs from 9 to 15 of July at the XX International Arts Festival "Slavic Bazaar" in Vitebsk. Guests from Poland and Latvia have viewed the high level of company’s production, visiting the CNC machine tools and small series vehicle production shops of a main plant "Udarnik." With a wide range of machines manufactured by JSC artists got familiar with during their tour on the company permanent exhibition. Meeting continued with the concert. Native culture, traditions and language, as well as union with Belarus, has shown in his insightful lyrical songs male ensemble of "Chimes" (“Kuranty”) from Poland (Byalo-Podlaski). The popular hits that run in three Slavic languages, the composition of the country, national holidays and the great Belarusian nature left an indelible impression on the employees of "Amkodor", urging those present into the spirit of patriotism. No less interesting was the presentation and our countrymen - the ensemble "Nadzeya" from Latvia (Riga), which was felt in the songs of nostalgia for their homeland, as well as genuine pride in what we are - Belarusians. WELCOME TO COOPERATION

JSC "AMKODOR" REDEEMS MORE PLANTS

JSC "Amkodor" consistently implementing its development program. Now JSC is actively working to create a high-tech export-oriented holding company, the economic feasibility of which consists of attracting foreign investment in the economy, create jobs and increase tax revenues of the Republic of Belarus. In accordance with Presidential Decree # 274 of June 27, 2011 "On some measures for the development of joint-stock company "Amkodor" by 31 December this year on specific commitments document the JSC "Amkodor" buys three companies: JSC "Dzerzhinsk plant "Agromash", "Plant Epos "(Logoisk)," Minsk appliance-making factory". The goal is extension of the material and technical production base in the Republic of Belarus, road construction, agricultural, forestry, utilities and other special equipment. In 2008, in accordance with Presidential Decree # 646 JSC "Amkodor" bought from the state a controlling stake in loss-making at the time "The Gastello Experimental Plant" (now - JSC "Amkodor-Unimod"). 20 YEARS - 25 000 HYDROMECHANICAL TRANSMISSIONS

At the plant "Dormash" the jubilee 25000th hydromechanical transmission is made. This business unit is one of the key elements of the loader. Hydromechanical transmission or HMT includes three main parts: torque converter, manual gear box and the steering box. Today's HMT has a 4 speed gear: 2 transport, 2 working and reverse speed. During the years of construction and technological process details have been continuously improved. Production unified hydro-mechanical transmission has been mastered in 1991 at the state small business "Agregat" of Minsk Scientific-Production Association of Road Engineering. With this NGOs "Dormash" replaced at that time used Polish hydromechanical transmissions on its own version, adapted for use on all models of "Amkodor" brand vehicles. In September 1991, were issued the first 6 pieces of HMT, at the end of the year - 70. Nevertheless, after three years of production, the gearboxes were not only delivered to the native plant of "Udarnik" (the headquarters of JSC “Amkodor”) but also to the Russian Orel Trucks Plant. Originally the first box bodies have been welded, later they began to use casting. Today, shop for the production of hydro-mechanical transmission is part of the plant "Dormash". It is here by the efforts of 93 skilled professionals, 26 different modifications of hydro gearboxes are made: 16 of them - on all-purpose trucks (U35.615-00.000-06, 07,08,09,13,14) 9 - on the forest machinery (U35.615 -00.00-11, 2661.17.00.010-01) and 1 - on fork lift trucks (451.38.01.000). The shop is equipped with the new modern high-tech machines of leading world manufacturers, which allows them to produce high quality products. By preserving the edge of high competitiveness, constantly improving quality level is the key of increasing production volumes. Currently, about 240 HMT units are made monthly . On July 1 at the "Dormash" plant will be a solemn event dedicated to the production of 25 000 HMT. The management of JSC "Amkodor" congratulates all staff for their achievements and dedication. BELAGRO-2011": SUMMING UP

On 21-th international specialized exhibition "BELAGRO-2011" JSC “Amkodor" presented a whole range of agricultural machinery produced - 14 different machines, 50 units of working attachments and grain cleaning and drying facilities. To get a preview of the traditionally large, bright and creative exposition of the enterprise, as well as with the latest production line was possible on the show floor at JSC "Gastellovskoe" near the village of Senica. Two new machines this year: the universal loader AMKODOR 320SE and AMKODOR 330SE were in particular visitor’s interest. Universal loader AMKODOR 320SE capacity of 2 tons is designed specifically for the European market. HARVESTER “AMKODOR” WINS!

On the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus initiative on the base of State Forestry Institution “Experimental forestry Starye Dorogi” on March, 17 the competition of harvesters “Amkodor” and “Ponsse” took place. Harvester Amkodor 2551 by JSC “Amkodor” became a winner. The competitors were machines of the middle class with comparable characteristics (motor power, boom and lifting capacity of the manipulator, harvester units characteristics). It should be mentioned that Finnish harvester was managed by two operators in shifts, and on the Belarusian machine took part in the competition a 23-year operator of State Forestry Institution “Gorodok Forestry” of “Vitebskdrev” affiliate. For 9 hours, while the machines were demonstrating their technical capabilities, harvester AMKODOR 2551 prepared 420 m³ of dense wood, general square 13 830 m², it sawed and processed 939 trees. Harvester Ponsse Beaver prepared 360 m³ of wood, general square 10 080 m² and processed 655 trunks. The amount of wood prepared is 460 and 370 m³ according to computer data of accounting systems of Belarusian and Finnish machines resp. Besides specific fuel consumption for the harvester of “Amkodor” trademark is 0.345 liter per cubic meter, “Ponsse” – 0.361 liter per cubic meter. Harvester Ponsse Beaver is one of the best world technique samples of this class, produced by company “Ponsse Oyg”, which has over 40-year experience of design and forest machines producing. The first samples of forest technique of JSC “Amkodor” were made about 5 years ago. The concept is based on simple construction and the ability of service and repair of machines buy the operator. Not stepping to world brands in productivity, bealrusian machines are sigbificantly cheaper. Besides you don’t have to pay for them by currency, which is important for the state economy. After the end of competition a seminar-meeting of Ministry of Forestry on the questions of use of native and foreign production tool place, during which Forestry Minister of Belarus M. M. Amel’yanovitch appreciated the success of “Amkodor”. Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC “Amkodor” A. V. Shakutin took part in the work of the seminar. During the meeting questions of approving effectiveness of preparing and processing of wood were discussed, a line of principal and important decisions about development of new models of technique for wood processing, increase of quality and the level of operators training, development of service warranty and post-warranty was worked out. Ministry of Forestry and JSC “Amkodor” decided on the organization of such seminars-meetings on a permanent basis.

‘AMKODOR’ ELECTRIC MACHINES: ECONOMIC, CONVINIENT, SAFE

At the annual big exhibition “Southern Architecture and Construction Forum”, which took place in early march in Krasnodar, Russian Federation, JSC “Amkodor” showed one of the latest company’s developments – forklift AMKODOR E16, which brought great deal of interest among guests and visitors. Last November JSC “Amkodor” branch enterprise CJSC “Amkodor-Unicab” (Molodetchno) started mass production of forklifts AMKODOR E16 and AMKODOR E25, and also platform electric truck AMKODOR EP30. It’s a joint project of JSC “Amkodor” and “Dimex” company (Bulgaria) on license machines production at CJSC “Amkodor-Unicab”. Electric forklift production is a new line in the company’s strategy, taking to account the world trends. And, in spite of wide choice, the more logistic companies and producers buy electric loaders, paying tribute to their advantages. Forklifts AMKODOR E16 and AMKODOR E25 with lifting capacity 1.6 and 2.5 tons differ by European quality and acceptable price. They are convenient in operation, safe and frugal. These highly productive machines are better used indoors. The main working body is a fork. Changeable attachments for different cargo handling types may be used with electric loaders. Motor stroke and working equipment feed upon traction battery. Spring seat can be regulated in longitudinal direction, back tilt and stiffness depending on the driver’s weight. Electric truck AMKODOR EP30 with lifting capacity of 3 tons can be made with or without cabin, loading platform can have boards. Soon the machine will be equipped with hydra front axle. Stepless and smooth acceleration electric machines movement are provided by “Curtis” impulse regulators. Compared to ICE loaders electric loaders are almost noiseless and besides ecologically safe. These machines have big service interval, lower operating costs. Modern Belarusian manufactures produce frames, safety cage cabs and fiberglass pieces for this type of machines. Soon the list will be completed with such units and metal framework as counterweight, steering axle, loading equipment. It is necessary to keep in mind that dealer network of JSC “Amkodor” is able to provide quick supply of new technique, and its warranty and post-warranty repairs.

"AMKODOR 2662: SUCCESSFUL TESTING"

A preproduction model of Amkodor 2662 forwarder was successfully tested on wood cutting grounds at STFI “Rechitsa experimental forestry”. A new logging machine of Amkodor trademark has acquired the reputation of a safe and convenient in operation machine, showed a high productivity. During the test time the forwarder took out of the cutting areas 3069 m? of wood with yard distance up to 3 km, which testifies its good traction characteristics and excellent passing ability. From former machine of Amkodor 2661 a new forwarder is differs by introducing a horizontal-vertical hinge as joint between the beds of a chassis. MMP motor of level 2, installed on this machine, is equipped with a compressor for tire inflation. The motor power of 180 hp allowed to enlarge the traction pull and to increase the forwarder operating capability up to 14 tons. There is ability of the rear axle shutoff and therefore– fuel frugality in transport mode. On customer’s request a blade installation along with manipulator’s boom of 10.3 m is possible. It should be kept in mind that Amkodor 2662 is equipped with an autonomous engine heater, and detachable wheels, which significantly decreases the time spent on tire replacement and simplifies the procedure itself. To increase the passing abilities on marshlands, snow cover and other difficult areas the forwarders may be optionally equipped with caterpillars and chains. Just as a new forwarder is dedicated to work in harder weather conditions, special attention is paid to the comfort and operator safety. The basic equipment contains comfortable seat of “Gramer” company (Germany), conditioner-heater of the operator’s cabin, tape recorder with MP3 player, cigarette lighter socket and so on. Based on successful testing results, forwarder is recommended for further production, starting with initial number of 10 machines for the broader exploitation check. There is no doubt there will be high demand on this machine. The first tested forwarder has already found its consumer and will be soon an accession to the “Vileika experimental forestry” machine park.

"AMKODOR-MOZHA": GREAT RESULTS!

In 2010 Amkodor-Mozha LLC (Krupki, Belarus) which is a branch enterprise of Amkodor JSC, have presented a new technological work scheme by well-established reputation of a grain cleaning and drying technologies complexes - ZSK-40Sh and ZSK-30Sh to the agrarian sector. Aside from preparatory grain cleaning operation, initial grain refining operation is set for further possibility of seeding material preparation. Thus, post-harvesting grain processing now includes cleaning and drying of high quality. This scheme will be implemented in producing complexes this year as well. Besides ZSKs made in 2010 are equipped with fire-fighting system which is only produced by Amkodor-Mozha Limited Liability Company. In addition improved complex’s control system facilitates operator’s work and prevents him/her from making mistakes during grain drying. During the previous year serious attention was still paid to the staff of cleaning - drying complexes supplied by Amkodor-Mozha LLC. Over 150 operators and other ZSK –servicing workers have been trained on the base of Agricultural and Food Industry Executive Committee of Berezino region, assisting by experts of “Belarusian Republican Training Unit ” State Institute of Education of Agricultural and Food Industry ministry of Republic of Belarus, Tenzodat Non-Commercial Partnership Limited Liability Company, Agrotehkultura Private Unitary Enterprise, Interclima Joint Limited Liability Company and Amkodor JSC. All these factors combined with the previous groundwork provided obvious advantages to the machinery of Amkodor-Mozha LLC, comparing to the closest rivals. The enterprise specializes on the agro-industrial engineering re-equipment of the country. It is based on manufacturing brand new products. Over 300 people work for LLC. According to the previous year data, the increase of volume output was 200%. Crucial place in the offered range of products takes grain-drying machinery. 48 grain-cleaning-complexes ZSK-40Sh and ZSK-30Sh, along with one unit of ZSK-60Sh, were produced and installed in 2010. Already in 1995 Amkodor-Mozha LLC started manufacturing of column-type ZSK complexes which hadn’t been produced in Belarus before. Since 2008 Amkodor –Mozha LLC has began to master grain cleaning-drying shaft-type complexes production with efficiency of 15;20;30;40;60 planned tones/hour. In general these are post-harvesting grain processing mini-workshops. Today they are equipped with receiving-feeding devices, preliminary grain cleaning operating section, shaft type grain drying machine operating on heat transfer agent broaching, preliminary grain and transport systems clearing section and control room. The set includes also multi-purpose air-heater which operates using all types of fuel including wood and rapeseed oil. It can be used as a separate unit providing coolant flow into the necessary volume of grain mass. Last year, the enterprise has produced 38 air-heaters on request by Minsk and Grodno regions. It should be noted that all working elements of the complex which includes several production lines, can be manufactured and delivered on custom preference upon requests.

"SERVICE: QUALITY GUARANTEED"

During the council of dealers and distributors of Amkodor JSC on January 20-21st, a meeting of service centers managers took place. The representatives of 45 companies took part in it. The number of participants increased about four times comparing to the last year. For the first time there were service managers not only from Belarus, but also from Russia, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, and India. Such meetings are a real opportunity to establish feedback with trade representatives and service centers. The implementation of the outlined tasks stimulates the improvement of service-trade network, increases quality of service, and in the end – all product line sale under the “Amkodor” trademark . The quality of service of Amkodor JSC is continually improving. Thus, for the additional control on the delivery of the product that has been sold before January 1, 2010, controlling check-coupons were introduced. Today there are eight service centers in Republic of Belarus and the expansion of the service network is coming in near future. During the council the negotiations with the managers of “Zhabinkovskaya Selkhoztechnika” JSC and “Pinsk mechtrance” took place. Both enterprises are ready to begin the service maintenance of the company’s products, which will be sent to the Brest region under federal programs fulfillment. The service network is also developing beyond the borders of Belarus. The machines of “Amkodor” trademark are handled in 45 service centers and 57 services in Russian Federation, 27 analogue centers and services in the CIS and distant foreign countries. There, they have well-trained specialists along with a combination of original spare parts and extensible materials on stock. Since September 2010, another certification program of service centers has begun in the JSC. Currently, there have been certified 18 companies from Russia, Moldova and Turkmenistan. As for the plans for this year, it is a set of improvements, intended on service maintenance, especially for those that under warranty product, round-clock spare parts and extensible materials supply and decrease of service time, as part of execution tasks given to the partners. In its turn, JSC “Amkodor” is trying to improve on the quality of products it producing, to make the process of communication between service centers and company itself is equally simple. Furthermore, the administration of quality control was created in November of 2010 and in the middle of January 2011, the supportive document was signed to provide quarterly instructive lessons and seminars for the distributive companies specialists.

"AMKODOR" AT "RESTA 2010" EXHIBITION

JSC "Amkodor" has participated in the international exhibition "Resta 2010". This is a main show for the Lithuanian construction businesses that ran from 14 to 17-th of Apr. in the central exhibit spot - "Litexpo" of Vilnius, the Lithuanian capital city.
Among many participants, which counted over 400 companies from 11 countries across the globe, JSC "Amkodor" with its dealer to the European Union "Amkodor-Baltic" was the only Belorussian represantative and that in fact, was the company's debut on such a prestigious stage. The "Resta" visitors paid high interest to the "Amkodor"'s production line. "Amkodor 320" - universal loader with loading capacity of 2 tonns and miniature but very agile with side-moving capabilities - "Amkodor-211" (1.2 tonn loading capacity) were the hot spot of the showcase. The Lithuanian contruction material makers, with no doubt, were among those who indeed expressed their special interest to these machines, pointing out their functionality and size.
On such high consumer attention company responces quickly and for up today offers reliable machinery with the optimal balance between the quality and price. The product under brand name "Amkodor" succesfully competes against others on effective productiveness and looks far more preferable with the cost on spare parts and the service. The promotion of the company's product to the European Union is concentrated on building assembly plant in Lithuania. A real-time schedule is full operating for getting proper certification on units "Amkodor-320" and "Amkodor-211" with level IIIA. The production of these two machines is planned for the year 2011.

"AMKODOR" PRESENTS

On Apr.8th JSC "Amkodor" in conjunction with Vitebsk regional executive committee had seminar-presentation on the grounds of "Verkhnedvinskiy Raiagroservice" who is the main technical hub for machine service and maintenance in Vitebsk area.
On this event "Amkodor" has presented seven of its models that could be easily equipped with quick-change working attachments. Their abilities and perfomance have demonstrated "all-time" favourites of "Amkodor" line-up: universal wheel-loaders - "Amkodor 320" and "Amkodor 342-C4", side-turning mini loader "Amkodor 211", "Amkodor 527" - loader with a telescopic arm. For the first time to public view has been revealed a universal haylage tamperer "Amkodor 352-C02" with 5 tonns load capacities and who's manufacturing has already began in 2010 along with universal wheel loaders "Amkodor 330" and "Amkodor 325C" - a new development from the "Amkodor"s engineering stuff.
The most interest from agricultural specialists had focused on haylage tampering machine "Amkodor 352-C02" which technology and productivity are well ahead of the previous models that being used widely in this region by farmers. The main characteristics of "352-C02" are safety, easy-handling, high effectiveness, fuel economy (12L/H), maneuverability, speed (45Km/H) and it provides nice equal tampering of forage mass across the surface. Among other distinctive features of this machine are excellent passability on difficult grounds, has low weight pressure on soil, can be equipped with 40 versatile working atachments.
Another new prospective model of "Amkodor"s line is universal wheel-loader "Amkodor 330 C" with 3 tonns of a loading volume. This model has modern durable chassis, automatic gearbox, tires 20/60-22.5 with improved passability. Just like all new "Amkodor"s models "330 C" matches ecological requirements StageII (Tier II). Transport speed of the machine is 34 Km/H. Quick-replaceable working attachments are the same as with "Amkodor 320" and "Amkodor 527".
At the end of the demonstration participants had a breefing with summary results of the seminar and future plans of "Amkodor" in Vitebsk area, discussed the questions for supplying local customers with spare parts. Company's leading specialists shared the information with visitors on additional characteristics used on their machinery and have answered to numerous questions.
